Abstract

Potato starch processing industry wastewater treatment technology , select potato starch as raw material , high substitution degree of cationic modified starch flocculant developed in the sewage treatment process applied research . Firstly, potato starch factory wastewater component analysis confirmed its high protein content ( 2.17% ) is the main reason for seriously overweight caused by the starch wastewater COD value of the chemical oxygen demand (49000mg / L) . Wastewater potato starch , followed by traditional flocculants better determine the use of cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) mixed with polyaluminum chloride (PAC) , and the use of polymeric ferric sulfate (PFS) complex with the effect of the second and get the CPAM with PFS mixed use optimal parameters by orthogonal experiment : when the CPAM to use concentration 1.0 ‰ , the PFS use the concentration of 2.0 ‰ water samples pH 6.0 , COD removal rate of up to 53.16% . Again high substitution degree of cationic modified starch (CMS) the flocculant preparation of experimental research to establish a 3 - chloro-2 - hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (CHPTMA) cationic etherification agent , pre - drying method preparation; CHPTMA account for the amount of starch dry basis 55 % of NaOH and CHPTMA molar ratio is 1:1 , reaction temperature 85 ° C , the degree of substitution can be prepared under the conditions of the reaction time 5h 0.3903 of CMS , and by electron microscopy and infrared spectroscopy analysis, validation, the feasibility of this process is preparation of the CMS . Will be prepared by the CMS used in potato starch factory wastewater research , compare CMS flocculants and polymeric ferric sulfate (PFS) complex to achieve better results , optimizing the optimum parameters for : When CMS use concentration of 1.2 ‰, PFS use concentration of 1.5 per 1,000 water samples pH value of 7.0 , the COD removal rate is up to 64.31% , and prove that the CMS is superior to the compounding effect of CPAM with PFS . Finally, explore the CMS acrylamide graft copolymer flocculant preparation process in order to obtain better COD removal . The research shows that : the use of the degree of substitution of 0.0697 of CMS preparation of cationic modified starch acrylamide graft copolymer get better results , and when copolymer concentration of 0.2% o PFS used at a concentration of 1.5 per thousand water samples pH 6.0 when the COD removal rate increased to 68.21% .
