The coordination polymer adsorption gas separation, fluorescence, catalysis, nonlinear optics, ion exchange, and magnetic materials and other fields has a great prospect, has attracted wide attention. The paper Select 1,2,3,4 - butane tetracarboxylic acid as a flexible ligand, diffusion method and the hydrothermal method, the reaction was carried out with a variety of transition metal or rare earth metal, synthetic polymer of nine novel ligand. Crystal structure determination by X-ray single crystal diffraction and elemental analysis and IR spectroscopic characterization, thermal gravimetric analysis on the part of the polymer. The first chapter is a literature review, a brief description of the concept, development and current situation of the coordination chemistry and organometallic coordination polymers. The coordination polymer adsorption and separation of chiral catalytic performance, and the nature of the fluorescence properties of the current development. Finally, the purpose and significance of this thesis. Experimental part of Chapter II, 1, 2, 3, 4 - butane tetracarboxylic acid and transition metal ions, rare earth metal ions, were prepared by diffusion Coordination Polymer {[the Zn 2 (BTCA)] · 5H 2 O} n (1), {[CeNa (BTCA) (H 2 O) 3 ] · 4H 2 O} n (2). Crystal structure analysis showed that these two polymers is a three-dimensional structure having a hole, holes of different sizes exhibit different selectivity of the sodium metal ion. The third chapter use of Pd 2 with 1,2,3,4 - butane tetracarboxylic acid under the conditions of room temperature and hydrothermal reaction, respectively synthetic polymers {[Pb (BTCA) 0.5 · H 2 O] · H 2 O} n (3), {[Pb (BTCA) 0 .5)]} n (4). Wherein the compound 3 ligand remains non-chiral conformation into a conformation having a chiral ligand compound 4. Chapter IV through the different reaction conditions, preparation the five Cd 2 and 1,2,3,4 - butane tetracarboxylic acid polymer {Cd (BTCA) 0.5 < / sub>} n (5), {[Cd 2 (BTCA) · 3H 2 O]} n (6), {[Cd 2 (BTCA) · 4H 2 O] · 2H 2 O} n (7), {Cd (BTCA) 0.5 (2,2-bpy) (H 2 O)} n (8), {[Cd (BTCA) 0.5 (1,10-phen) (H 2 O)] · H 2 O} n (9). The X-ray diffraction shows the polymers 5 and 6, the three-dimensional structure 7 is a two-dimensional structure, while 8 and 9, the layer having a two-dimensional supramolecular structure.
