Recent years, with the per capita energy consumption continues to increase , and the rapid development of MEMS technology , micro direct methanol fuel cell (Micro Direct Methanol Fuel Cell, μDMFC) become a hot topic because of its broad application prospects . Currently μDMFC there anode reaction gas is discharged , the low mass transfer efficiency , resulting in the output characteristics affected . This paper presents μDMFC anode mass transfer model , a systematic study of the structural parameters and mass transfer characteristics of of μDMFC monomer ; developed based on the theoretical results based on the two materials μDMFC monomer , and finally designed and produced 10 section monomer -breathing μDMFC battery pack. The micro DMFC anode mass transfer model , the model results show that : the anode flow field structure have a certain impact on the performance of the battery , but also affected the the anode reaction product CO2 discharge . Design and produced silicon μDMFC , prepared based on MEMS technology the different anode structure and flow channel parameters silicon plate , has been tested and the maximum power density reached 13.2 mW / cm ~ 2 , and simulation results consistent . Using micro- stamping technology and evaporation technique to successfully prepared the stainless steel μDMFC plate , using a variety of test methods to evaluate battery performance , the maximum power density 26.95mW/cm . Research based on metal μDMFC monomer , was proposed and designed a novel structure of the air -breathing metal matrix μDMFC battery pack successfully drive the micro motor .
