Abstract


The development and progress of digital technology brings the prosperity and diversity of digital art. Digital animation is one of the crucial aspects of digital art. Intro animation, whose main purpose is to show the mathematical methods, programming technique and the mathematical ability of computer system, is one of the most important types of real-time animation. And it is a kind of short real-time animation, which acts as a perfect and sufficient merge of maker’s thoughts, emotion and imagination.Intro animation belongs to the contemporary science and technology art, and its technical nature constitutes the core of its aesthetic foundation. Intro animation’s unique aesthetic rules and generation methods have inspired new aesthetic thinking so much. It embodies the scientific and artistic thinking of animation, the free will and creation of animation creator, as well as the unique aesthetic pleasure of animation experience in nature.This topic, which starts from the perspective of technical aesthetics and use the research methods of technical aesthetics, provides comprehensive exploration on intro animation. First, the topic gives definition and technological theories of Intro animation. Second, it does deep research on the general aesthetic characteristics and unique aesthetic rules of Intro animation, which is the beauty of regularity, the beauty of motion, the beauty of strangeness and the beauty of rhythm, then comes into conclusion. The theoretical method used in this topic is doing research from the outer aesthetic characteristics to the inner logical system of Intro animation. This topic does comprehensive analysis on Intro animation’s inner logical system on three aspects, which include generation system, algorithmic thought and programming language. Moreover, the aesthetic characteristics, art effects and beauty of Intro are decided by its inner logical constitution. Third, this topic explores and summarizes Intro’s fundamental attribute based on the traditional digital theories and Intro animation’s digital attribute, which includes the digital attribute of generation process, digital attribute of algorithmic model and that of programming codes, and the final conclusion is that the fundamental attribute of Intro animation is the harmony of digit. Intro animation is a new kind of digital art and its unique attributes, such as aesthetic characteristics, aesthetic rules and generation system would influence people’s aesthetic experience deeply, and they would also bring related changes to the ideology field, which could be regarded as social culture contribution.The article is a comprehensive exploration and analysis of Intro animation, from its intension to its extension, from characteristics to significances, and it would be helpful for a systematical realization of Intro animation even real-time animation, especially the realization on its aesthetic characteristics, fundamental attribute and cultural significance. Intro animation, as a new kind of digital animation, has little systematical researches on its technological theories and art theories, especially those based on aesthetic theories, in this sense, this topic could be regarded as a kind of theoretical exploration and experiment on the blank in this field.
