Abstract

The session is an important way to our day-to-day communication . How to communicate effectively since ancient times is the speech science , rhetoric , and later linguistics research center . Session since the early 20th century , with the rapid development of linguistics and its subordinate subclass disciplines has made considerable progress , and research perspective toward diversification . Cooperative principle and politeness principle as Pragmatic two important theories within the field , is widely being used in the interpretation of the session . Principles of cooperation focused on the description of how to comply with , or violation of the principles of its guidelines , the politeness principle focus to explain why people would undermine the principles of cooperation for the cost of the implementation of the politeness norms . With the popularity of the TV talk show has become a new form of popular entertainment . In the them worldwide Nei Linlin all talk show , Oprah Winfrey 's talk show can be counted as the most popular , one of the most influential . Many scholars it from different angles , different methods are discussed , and achieved remarkable results . The paper tries politeness principle and the principle of cooperation theoretical analysis on Oprah's talk show . This paper is divided into two parts , respectively, to comply with the violation of the principles of cooperation , and to comply with the violation of the principles of courtesy investigation . The study found that the host usually is the party of the interview can better comply with the principles of cooperation , because her compliance with the principles of cooperation is the key to the success of the entire interview , without her cooperation , interviewed impossible to proceed smoothly ; guests often undermine cooperation principle , because they often are asked to visit some of them do not want to answer or feel very awkward . In this case , they had violated the principle of cooperation. But as a kind of remedial measures , they will often consciously or unconsciously follow some guidelines politeness principle , which to some extent alleviate the damage to both sides face . Of itself limited capacity , it is inevitable that a lot of inadequacies , there is a big room for improvement .
