Abstract


By means of simple, responsive and low-cost telecommunication method and based on demand-supply information published on internet, E-commerce, as an emerging new transactional model, enables carry-out of various business activities without face to face communication of supplier and buyer.As the result of the development of large-scaled socialized production and circulation of commodities, E-commerce gets benefit from the growth of modern information technology. Virtualization, transparency and high efficiency is the trade mark of E-commerce.The emergence of Cloud Computing is along with developed economic and business environment. Cloud Computing based E-commerce model is a new business model in which, Cloud Computing interacts with aspects such as economy, commerce, management and application etc, leading to revolution over organization structure, profit generation, marketing and knowledge management of an enterprise. "Cloud Computing" has more and more become the most popular business model nowadays. By setting up computation and storage center by professional network company, what enterprise or individual user needs is only a cable, where through the browser, they can easily use the "cloud" as a data storage and application services center. Such a revolutionary breakthrough will significantly strengthen the weaker position of the small and medium enterprise (SME) in current information time. By making use of resources and lowering cost more efficiently, the core competitiveness of SME can be tremendously enhanced. Enterprise’s master level of "Cloud Computing" is to some extent determining its position in the new competition era.The impellent role of Cloud Computing for e-commerce website, such as the impact to resource utilization, cost management and enterprise strategy design,will be the main focus of this paper.With reference to domestic and international research paper, below paper did a retrospective and systematic overview and summary for Cloud Computing. It analyzes the market value of Cloud Computing to E-commerce enterprise. The impellent effect of Cloud Computing over e-commerce will be elaborated by exploring examples of different type enterprises like Amazon and Zynga. The main discussion will be focused on how Cloud Computing helps reducing the operating cost of SME and what should those enterprises do to adjust their strategy so as to cater for the revolutionary change now happening in internet world.
