Abstract


Sentimental education as a kind of subsidiary education has attracted great attention by educators of various circles in recent years. For increasing the ability of students’self-education, this kind of education try to arouse the kind of emotional experience between teachers and students by affective interaction. The writer starts the article by making the right definition of sentimental education, tracing to the source of its theoretical foundation and distinguish it from only intellectualism education. That makes the point that it is important to lunch sentimental education. Nowadays, it is common that schools pay more attention on exam-oriented education than sentimental education, and also common that moral education takes the place of sentimental education. It is pervasive that families ignore the sentimental education while children need it so much. The writer does a survey on it and gives some effective approaches on how to carry out sentimental education in senior high school. This paper describes the sentimental education approaches in detail on classroom instruction, teaching management and teaching evaluation.Sentimental education is noticeable important in the future pedagogical reforms. And enhancing sentimental education in senior high school is imperative.
