Abstract


In today 's increasingly close international exchanges and cooperation , the teaching of foreign literary works become an important channel to guide students into the halls of world literature , to absorb other ethnic cultural essence . A long time, by the content of the examination , the limitations of the characteristics of the system , as well as foreign literature , foreign literature teaching has been in an awkward situation \Liaoning Province in 2006 to implement the new curriculum reform , new curriculum explicitly require students to enhance cultural awareness , emphasis on the inheritance of the cultural heritage of excellence , respect and understanding of multicultural concerned with contemporary cultural life , learning on the analysis of the cultural phenomenon , actively participate in the advanced culture dissemination and exchange . \In 2009 , the teaching of foreign literary works have run a three - round cycle . Timely summary and reflection will certainly contribute to the teaching of foreign literature . This paper attempts to start from the background and significance of the teaching of high school foreign literary works , analyzing the characteristics of the Foreign Literature textbook contents , combined with their own teaching practice , research status quo of the current teaching of foreign literary works , which found the problem , and targeted to explore foreign Literature Teaching reasonable and efficient teaching methods .
