Abstract


Rare and endemic fish basic geographic database of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River to establish the goal is to make comprehensive use of GIS technology and information network and database technology as the main network database products , and to establish the basis of rare and endemic fish National Nature Reserve, covering the upper reaches of the Yangtze River geodatabase and data update mode and spatial database version control mechanism of the gradual establishment of a basic geographic database service system for the upper reaches of the Yangtze River rare endemic fishes National Nature Reserve , and to provide spatial information services for the various sectors of the society . This article MicroSoft SQL Server 2005 and Spatial Data Engine (ArcSDE) building a database model , using JAVA technology and ArcIMS technology to establish the basis of geo-spatial database management system . Building a database focused on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River Rare endemic fish basic geographic database management and basic geospatial data applications , exploration and research , the main results are as follows : ( 1) analysis of the characteristics of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River Waterway vector data , standardized data management , production and processing of the electronic map data of the protected areas ; (2) to design and build the upper reaches of the Yangtze River rare and endemic fish basic geographic database and fish ecological environment information database and its management system ; (3 ) the basis of geography in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River data fairway terrain analysis , the thalweg line extraction . Basic geographic database of rare and endemic fish of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River management is needed in the actual operation and constantly improve , such as map display , and update spatial data , spatial data version control and other issues . Further tap the basic geographic data in the the fish ecological environment evaluation , but also work in the future research priorities .
