Material handling system project for the country’s economic development is concerned, a very important meaning, and as business is concerned, if a project launched successful, will certainly improve the overall competitiveness of enterprises for the enterprises to create higher returns. However, due to material handling system project input costs due to large investment for a long time for the high quality requirements, resulting in a material handling system project there are certain risks. As for my country, did not form on the material handling system, project-specific risk management practices.This paper describes the general theory of risk management, introduction of risk and risk management concepts, and theories on the evolution of risk management are described, defines the concept of material handling system project analyzes the characteristics of material handling system project.
