Abstract


Port logistics is a comprehensive logistics system under the special form, is an important way to stimulate the port area’s economic growth and improve the port city’s overall competitiveness. So the logistics academia, industry academia and government departments have increasingly attached great importance to develop the port logistics of the central city. Until now, most of the relative researches on port logistics industry cluster belong to qualitative research , there are almost no quantitative ones. The paper systematically studies the clustering development trend of port logistics and its impact on foreign trade, adding new thoughts of studying the port logistics.The paper is divided into 5 parts. Part 1 is the introduction, it mainly explains the research background and significance, research status at home and abroad, technological routine, the arrangement of the content. Part 2 mainly introduces the theories of industry cluster, port logistics, industry cluster and foreign trade as the theoretical basis of this paper. Part 3 mainly analyzes the port logistics industry cluster’s influence on foreign trade theoretically. It mainly analyzes the possibility and significance of the clustering development trend of port logistics, defines the port logistics industry cluster, analyses the key factors affecting foreign trade and the influencing path of port logistics development on foreign trade, and also analyses the port logistics industry cluster development’s influence on foreign trade. Part 4 is the empirical research. In this part, through the econometric methods, such as liner regression, co-integration and so on, it analyzes contrastively Ningbo City’s port logistics development’s influence on foreign trade by using the Eviews 6.0 software from the perspective of industry cluster and non-industry cluster respectively, and finally puts forward the countermeasures of Ningbo Port’s development of port logistics. Part 5 is the last part, it includes the full text summary, the creativities of research paper and the further research events needed. Ultimately, it draws the following conclusions:Firstly, there is a prominent relationship between the port logistics industry cluster, port logistics industry cluster promotes the development of foreign trade. Secondly, the higher of concentration ratio of port logistics industry cluster is, the greater of incremental coefficient and elasticity coefficient of the impact on foreign trade.Thirdly, as to Ningbo Port, there exists a long-term co-integration between the port logistics development and foreign trade; It shouldn’t neglect the clustering scale of port logistics industry cluster and its influence on foreign trade, the incremental coefficient, elastic coefficient of port logistics development’s influence on foreign from the perspective of industry cluster is greater than that of perspective of non-industry cluster.
