Abstract


Consumption, investment and net exports is pulling the three factors of a country's economic growth, consumer demand as final demand, is the most important factor determining economic growth. Consumer demand is not only the largest share of demand to promote economic growth and consumer demand is the most stable economic growth, the most basic needs. In the context of the current global financial crisis, how to increase domestic consumer demand, consumer-driven economic growth, has become China now and in the future macroeconomic performance in urgent need to address the problem. Since the reform and opening up of urban and rural residents 'income in Xinjiang has been more substantial growth, but residents in the residents' income while growing propensity to consume is falling, resulting in a lack of effective demand of the residents, has become unfavorable factors constraining economic growth in Xinjiang. Xinjiang residents insufficient consumer demand has become a common concern of all sectors of society. Therefore, changes in trends and analysis of consumer tendency the consumer tendency of the effects of changes in factors, exploring the law of motion, not only for the rich consumer theory study has important theoretical value and of great practical significance to improve the speed and quality of economic growth in Xinjiang . First, consumption and propensity to consume theory are reviewed, including domestic and foreign scholars on the study of the theory of consumption and consumer tendencies, laid a theoretical foundation for later research. Second, the propensity to consume the analysis of the changes in the trend of Xinjiang residents pointed to the consumer tendency showed a downward trend, and from both theoretical and empirical analysis of the reasons for the decline in household consumption tendency. Including factors affect residents' income and consumer spending, slow income growth, the residents of the widening income gap, Upgrading of consumer spending, increased household savings, the impact of changes in commodity prices and the residents credit capacity is not strong. And using a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method to analyze the changes in the propensity to consume. Finally, summarize the main conclusions and proposed the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, including increase residents 'income and narrow the gap between people's income, and guide the upgrade of residents' consumption structure, reduce household savings intention to stabilize commodity prices and enhanced credit capacity of residents. Therefore, in the current economic environment, increasing household income, adjusting income distribution structure, low-income, transfer payments, the establishment of a market-oriented social security system can improve consumer tendency to optimize the consumption structure, and, ultimately, Xinjiang's economy sustained steady and healthy growth.
