Abstract


China is seeing a number of typical industrial cluster result from the rapid development of non-state-owned small and medium enterprises since Chinese reform and opening-up, which not only holds a high proportion at domestic and foreign markets, but also play an important role in promoting regional economic development. Chinese small and medium-sized enterprise first rises in the southeast coast area, therefore the southeast coast area’s industrial cluster develops early, industrial cluster has a very strong growth ability. With the rapid growth of the national economy, industry cluster region gradually expanded to the Midwest, in addition to the southeast coast, the Bohai Bay region began to form small and medium enterprises industry cluster of traditional manufacturing .As more industrial clusters of SMEs in China are formed spontaneously, which main source of competitive advantage are cheap labor force and other natural resources,land,for instance, located in the low-end of global industrial chain and value chain,in the cluster all sectors enterprises enterprises of the industry chain homogeneous competed severely,competition and cooperation stay at the low efficiency level. In the global region competition and industrial chain competition time, competitive advantages are mainly reflected in the regional competitiveness and efficiency of the industrial chain, therefore it is essential to enhance the whole industry cluster as well as the individual enterprises competitiveness by integration of industrial chain.This paper is based on such a background, in the summary of previous studies of industrial cluster and industrial chain integration theory. By explore characteristics of industrial clusters and question emerges in industrial cluster chain,through application value chain theory, study SMEs industrial clusters’location and status in the global value chain; By SMEs’competitive environment analysis in the global industrial chain, with the smile curve theory,from the theoretical level, study the both inside and outside motivation of the industrial chain integration for; By analyzing the way of SMEs industrial chain integration, establishing model of small and medium-sized enterprise industrial chain integration based on industrial clusters, study the industrial chain integration model and implementation based on industrial cluster. Take the Xianghe furniture industrial cluster as the case,Xianghe furniture industrial cluster originate from the sofa stalls, experienced the street of Xianghe furniture and furniture industry cluster,eventually become to one of the professional furniture markets,which is entitled as Northern furniture trade capital , formed a famous furniture industry cluster among Chinese 50 well-known industry cluster . By analyzing the features of Xianghe furniture industrial cluster and further analysis of the situation of the industrial chain, The concrete implementation model of industrial chain integration of Xianghe furniture industry cluster is product integration by optimizing the supply chain, value integration by manufacture and service together, knowledge integration by knowledge alliance, provided material for the general laws of industrial chain integration model.
