Abstract


The Internet of things is called the third wave of development of global information industryafter the computer and the Internet. Since its concept was proposed, it has received extensiveattention all over the world. The United States, the European Union, Japan have proposed anational development strategy. China’s Ministry of industry and information technology in2011November issued the "Internet of things" Twelfth Five-Year "development planning" as well, andthe Internet of things was elevated to the national strategic and emerging industries.The Internet of things has wide range of application, such as in traffic, home furnishing,agricultural and medical aspects, changing people’s way of life. Meanwhile, our country is in thestage of rapid economic development. Therefore, industrial development has great prospectsbecause of base and demand of network user. Our country has already formed the base of IOTindustry exemplary in some areas, but the high cost of Internet of things applications andindustrial chain are not perfect and other issues still exist, and restrict the development of IOTindustry.This article makes use of the method of literature review, standardized research method andcomparative analysis method, attempting to construct network industry chain through theInternet of things, and proposes the countermeasure to the problems existing in industrialdevelopment. First of all, the basic theories of industry chain and research status of industrialchain network analysis; secondly, analyzing the current situation of network industry andexisting problems; then put forward principle of build the industrial chain of the Internet ofthings from a strategic perspective: the industrial chain network construction should help theindustry development strategy achieved and is helpful to optimize the cost of industrial chain.Besides, choosing under the guidance of this principle of IOT industry chain factors and modelof industrial chain to complete the construction of the industrial chain; finally, the suggestionsfor the development of the Internet of things industry are put forward.
