Abstract

Gas pipeline deformation and corrosion damage defect information is available through the pipeline detector were detected and analyzed . Gas Pipeline detector in the pipeline by the gas delivery pressure driven travels within the control of the detector is operating within a reasonable speed , contribute to improving the accuracy of defect detection pipeline . In this paper, within the detector gas pipeline running speed control problems , according to the discharge device within the detector mechanical structure to establish a simulation model, based on run-time detected within the actual working conditions set boundary conditions are simulated . Gas Pipeline detector of the discharge state of the flow field, to obtain cross-sectional area of ??the bleed hole opening pressure difference between the gas , thereby controlling the speed of the inner detector . With the development of computer technology and the research and application of turbulence theory , computational fluid dynamics theory has become a research pipeline running speed within the detector an important means of controlling the problem . In this paper, the development and application of computational fluid dynamics and other aspects are described, and discusses the numerical methods used . By ANSYS ICEM-CFD mesh generation software built by modules within the detector discharge device model unstructured grid divided into computational fluid dynamics software ANSYS CFX internal discharge device model detector peripheral flow field the numerical simulation . This paper discusses the aperture area of ??the pipe cross-sectional area of ??40 %, 50 %, 60% discharge of the gas pressure distribution model and flow velocity distribution is obtained within the detection area of ??the drain holes in different residual turbulent kinetic energy , turbulent energy scattered state , axial momentum residuals and drain holes on the downstream pressure and poor number of parameters , intuitive reflects the fluid flows through the discharge flow distribution device status , and numerical results obtained for a detailed analysis, drain holes in the case of different diameter before and after the internal pressure difference detector . In this paper, numerical simulations using CFD means internal discharge device detector flow field study was designed to study their systems flow method , set up a research platform , which can play a reference to the actual experiment .
