Abstract


This paper aims to improve the drug release effect in mesoporous carriers. A COOH groups modified and pH-sensitive targeting drug released system with the nano mesoporous structure was synthesized successfully. It was also investigated to provide a reliable evidence for application and further research in biomedical field. The main contents include the following three aspects.(1) Mesoporous SBA-15 spheres with abundant carboxyl were synthesized by a one-step method. The effect of CTES on the morphologies, pore sizes and BET surface areas of mesoporous SBA-15 have been investigated. The samples were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), nitrogen adsorption/desorption and infrared (IR). The morphologies of the as-obtained products are sphere-like shapes. The materials possess highly ordered hexagonal mesoporous structure, large specific surface area, and pore volume.(2) Mesoporous silica material with carboxyl groups modified and polymer shell (chitosan) has been prepared as pH-sensitive drug controlled release system, and the drug release kinetics of these carriers were studied by Metformin Hydrochloride (MetH), The results show that carboxyl groups modified SBA-15 (COOH/SBA-15) showed drug loading capacity (52.3 wt %) twice than that of present SBA-15 (25.3 wt %) due to strong interaction between carboxyl group and MetH. And Chitosan coated COOH/SBA-15 (Chit/COOH/SBA-15) exhibits well pH-sensitive controlled drug release profile than pure SBA-15 and COOH/SBA-15 carriers.(3) Mesoporous SBA-15 grafted with PO43- groups and metal ions Ca2+ were synthesized by a one-step method.
