Abstract


With the development of economic, most families come to a-car-consume age in china. The cars are widely used which makes a significant impact on resident areas. The city’s modernization and the developing of cars caused no enough parking lots and wrong design for parking which lead to the parking spaces utilization rate are reduced, and affective living environment, interrupt citizens life as well. Thus, it is essential for people to take measures to solve the parking problems.Nowadays, the economic is developing in Taiyuan, the number of vehicles increased with the rate of 18%-20% per year. More and more individual vehicles used, so that the requirement of parking lots are increasing. There are no enough parking lots indicate the problem of parking at resident areas in Taiyuan.The essay focus on the parking problem in Taiyuan’s resident areas, the research data showed the ways to combat the parking problems in Taiyuan. Summarized different times about the parking problems from the research, in terms of the parking layout, transportation systems. Proposing solutions to parking problems in residential areas of Taiyuan. We can choose different transportations and parking space to solve the problems, which depend on what specific situation is, which can provide reference for Taiyuan residential area for the future construction of the new district. Organizating proposed residential development of parking should combine to parking environment. The researching of Residential parking mode and parking environmen are necessity and urgency for solving the parking problem.The parking problems are complicated jobs. The rules of parking play important roles in Taiyuan, and formulating the parking rules need to proper redistribution and forward looking so that it can adapt to the parking requirement. The best way to alleviate the parking problems is encourage people go out by bus, thus, developing the public transportation may combat the parking problems in origin.
