Abstract


The aim of the present study was designed to understand the Guangxi Zhuang type 2 diabetes Caveolin-3 gene mutation , and find out the Caveolin-3 gene exon relationship of single nucleotide polymorphisms (single nucleotide polymorphisms, SNPs) associated with type 2 diabetes . Methods 24 Guangxi Zhuang type 2 diabetes , and 10 Zhuang control people Caveolin-3 gene by polymerase chain reaction (Polymerase chain reaction, PCR) amplified and sequenced . Statistical analysis using χ ~ 2 test and Fisher's exact test . Α = 0.05 level of inspection . Results (1) Caveolin-3 gene outside exon two polymorphic sites in non-coding regions , are 12842A → G and 12715A → T . ( 2) diabetic group and normal control group , there was no statistically significant difference in the genotype frequencies between two points (p gt; 0.05); diabetic group and normal control group , two points allele frequencies there is a significant difference ( p lt; 0.05 ) . (3) 12842A → G and 12715A → T locus the three United genotype (AT, GT, GA), diabetic group and normal control three genotype frequency comparison between no statistically significant difference ( p gt; 0.05 ) ; the three genotypes Select pairwise comparison , AT and GA - distribution frequency in the presence of a statistically significant difference ( p lt; 0.05 ) in the diabetic group and normal control group . Conclusion Caveolin-3 gene 12842A → G and 12715A → T polymorphism and the occurrence of type 2 diabetes , two sites of type 2 diabetes susceptibility loci . The exact molecular biology mechanism needs further study
