Objective: To investigate the hepatitis B virus (HBV) related liver disease in patients with small molecules differentially expressed proteins in hepatitis B virus infection in the progression of the disease process . Methods: protein chips and surface-enhanced laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (surface-enhanced laserd esorption ionizationtime-of-flight mass spectrometry, SELDI-TOF-MS) technology for removal of high - abundance proteins with acetonitrile control (NC ), hepatitis B virus carriers (ASCs), chronic hepatitis B ( CHB ) , liver cirrhosis (LC) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients with preoperative serum testing, screening the respective serum small molecules differentially expressed proteins , diagnostic model and , respectively , in the protein data expasy find related differences in protein information , to evaluate the possible structure and function of the protein peaks . Results: compared with the normal control group , ASC Group 63 protein peak intensity value there is a statistically significant difference ( P lt; 0.05 ) , of which 29 were up-regulated and 34 down - regulated ; the CHB group 57 , which raised 21 , 36 down ; 68 LC group , 33 of which were up-regulated , 35 down ; 74 HCC group , 28 of which were up-regulated , 46 down ; analysis by contrast , are up-regulated expression in four cases of group m / z to 15889.8 , protein peak intensity value in NC lt ; ASC lt ; CHB lt ; LC group , HCC group than in CHB and LC groups ; 11742.2 protein peak intensity value in NC lt ; ASC lt ; CHB lt ; LC group and NC lt ; ASC lt ; CHB lt ; HCC group , in LC and HCC group the highest sensitivity and specificity of the protein peaks diagnosis of HBV infection -related liver cirrhosis were 90% and 86.67% , respectively , the diagnosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma The sensitivity and specificity of 93.33% and 83.33% , respectively . Differentially expressed proteins related small molecules in the serum of patients with liver disease , m / z 8709.7,13759.8,14004.0,15361.89,16072.3,2746.8,3449.1,3941.06,4098.3,9445.5 10 protein peaks may be associated with HBV infection ; m / z 15889.8 the protein peak may become HBV infection progress to cirrhosis early diagnostic markers , and m / z 11742.2 protein peaks may be an important sign of HBV-related cirrhosis or hepatocellular carcinoma . Conclusion: The successful removal of high-abundance proteins and application of SELDI- TOF - MS Screening for HBV infection
