Abstract

Examine explicit memory in long and short-term memory of the differences once the hot issues in the field, but few expect it to make such a distinction implicit memory. Currently working on implicit memory research is mostly behavior, which through sophisticated experimental design and response time differences confirmed the working memory contains implicit ingredients, but the lack of these acts of neurophysiological evidence, has not been explored reaction When differences represent the differences of neural activity. In this study, two experiments investigated implicit neural mechanisms of working memory and implicit working memory with traditional implicit long-term memory isolated on the ERPs. Experiment using the revised visual pattern-reversal experimental paradigm, the use of high temporal resolution ERP technology perspective from electrophysiological prove the existence of implicit working memory and examine its electrophysiological mechanisms; experiment two studies using the traditional method of implicit memory - - lexical decision task to investigate the short-term and long-implicit memory when implicit memory exists in the electrical physiological separation. Mainly the following conclusions: (a) from the experimental one in the Pattern and Broken pattern differences between the conditions and experimental two starting components in short term and long-time startup component separation shows that implicit working memory does exist. (2) implicit neural mechanisms of spatial working memory and explicit spatial working memory there are both similarities, has its unique place, both of which appeared closely related P2 and late negative waves, but implicit work memory of late negative wave maximum in the central region and the top area, and explicit in the occipital region of, and there hemispheric differences. (3) changes with time, the words can be divided into two components start, one short-term component, hold time is short, quick and smooth down; the second is the long component, stable constant. For non-word repetition in the immediate short-term component only when (interval 0) reflected out, repetition priming effect decreased rapidly after a long time to stabilize ingredients. (4) does not consider start interval, word and non-word repetition has a similar pattern on startup, both only 200-600ms activation in the prefrontal area there are differences. (5) ERP, the short-term priming effect on the brain areas activated much earlier than the long ingredient bigger, but in the prefrontal cortex was no significant difference, which may indicate that the work involved in implicit memory and implicit long-term memory is basically the same brain areas, both in addition to the forehead area just outside the brain activity of varying intensity. Enriches the previous findings on the relationship between working memory and consciousness theory, but also for the understanding of the working memory model to expand the idea. The results of this study can be for our learning and memory as well as to provide a basis other phenomena.
