The article is an integrative research about the ceramics of the Liao Dynasty unearthed in Liaoning(Centering on the new materials in rencent ten years).This article is divided into three parts besidesd the Preface and the Conclusion.Part one: Summarize the discoveries condition and reseach history about the ceramics of the Liao Dynasty unearthed in Liaoning districts. It offers condition for the advance research.Part two:The shape and figure, s sort and stage research. At first, the specific analysis of the types based on the glaze varieties could be found. The first aspect is the analysis of different shapes glaze, eight kinds are included in this part, such as the white glaze, green glaze device and the Liao eight three-color, followed by the overview of the motif of the Liao ceramics, consisted of plants , animal themes, and other types of patterns. Secondly, a brief analysis of the types of the Liao Dynasty ceramic unearthed in Liaoning Province since 2000 is made. There are four types, including Yue porcelain, Ding porcelain, Qing porcelain and porcelain Yaozhou. Finally, the stage is subdivided into three phases, early, middle and late. Also, a preliminary summary of the three basic characteristics could be found. This section is the emphasis of the paper. In addition to the text description, there are also some figures as appendices.Part three: The summary of the earlier stages. The basic features would be discussed in this section, including comprehensive types, multi-cultural elements, national characteristics, distinctive factors that is different from other times, functions and regions, and so on.As to the professional study of this topic, this article is rudimentary with some limitations.
