Abstract

In the context of multi- cultural society , bicultural identity has given rise to the height of the great importance of the cross - cultural scholars at home and abroad . Despite these studies greatly expand our understanding of the dual cultural identity , but most of these studies schools and social research background, the selected data is mostly limited to the autobiography and narrative . This paper aims interview program for research background , a face - to - face conversation data to study the relationship between language and bicultural identity , in order to expand the scope of the study of the dual cultural identity . Interactive sociolinguistics in social interaction research plays an important role , and culture are inextricably linked , so this article select interactive sociolinguistic analysis tool , use it to analyze on a case - by - case study of dual cultural identity discourse. This article select Up -close programs last 45 minutes of the mountains interview program for research data to period found what session strategy was used to build the mountain dual cultural identity , as well as these sessions strategy how the same words ( such as : vocabulary choose , tone , reread and Speed ??) and non-verbal contextualization prompts ( such as : body language, body movements and facial expressions ) with the construction of identity . The results show that five conversational strategies are used to construct the dual cultural identity of the mountains , they are : code switching strategy , to borrow the language strategy quotation strategy metaphorical strategies and compare strategies . This paper analyzes five sessions strategy how to construct mountain bicultural identity along with verbal and nonverbal contextualized prompts based on the theoretical framework of interactive sociolinguistics . In this study, not only in theory and practice to enrich and development of interactive sociolinguistics , also found that cross - cultural communication studies with the combination of discourse and identity .
