Abstract


As time advances, the development of teacher education and the social, cultural, economic and political ties between the increasingly closer. Teacher education for social progress and the importance of development has been recognized around the world. In recognition of changes in the role of education in the country, but also found shortcomings in teacher education. Although China is a developing country, the development of teacher education has also experienced the times change. Today, a century of education reform makes the outcome of teacher education clearly visible. Since the reform and opening up, China formed a relatively complete system of teacher education and training, establishment of teacher education institutions have shown the overall trend of increase. Australia is a developed capitalist country and its history of teacher education and training has gone through three important turning point.
