Abstract


In recent years, the incidental vocabulary acquisition abroad has become a new trend of Second Language Vocabulary Acquisition . Most research on reading tasks . Comparative study of reading and writing tasks is very small. This study was to investigate the effect of incidental vocabulary acquisition in high school reading and writing tasks . At the same time , also verified the Involvement Load Hypothesis , task induced invested more on better vocabulary to maintain the effect . In this study, partially supported by the \In this study, subjects from the Beipiao high school three natural classes 91 sophomore students . They were divided into three parallel groups , reading groups , writing groups , reading and writing group . Three groups were randomly assigned to read and write tasks . Reading material and target words are selected from the English textbooks published by the People's Education Press . Immediate vocabulary test , and two weeks after the delay vocabulary test will be to complete the task . Vocabulary Acquisition vocabulary knowledge scale test based on Wesche and Paribakht of the design . All the SPSS15.0 statistical data analysis . The three issues raised by this study are: ( 1 ) high school students (2 ) in volume tasks more effectively than low inputs task incidental vocabulary acquisition through reading and writing tasks to what extent ? ? (3) in the instant test and delay test , different read and write tasks incidental acquisition of vocabulary have any effect? ??analysis of the results of the test on three sets of vocabulary acquisition discussions , the following conclusions can be drawn : high school students by reading and writing tasks incidental Acquisition vocabulary knowledge . Literacy Task Force incidental vocabulary acquisition much more effective than the other two groups . In addition, the output-oriented tasks vocabulary to keep the effect is more obvious . However, the difference between the output-oriented tasks and less significant . This study have important theoretical and practical significance . In theory , the test \In practice , prove incidental task-based vocabulary acquisition vocabulary learning more help beginners . Therefore , this study proposes several suggestions for effective vocabulary learning high school learners through different reading and writing tasks .
