Abstract


With the new round of the English curriculum reform pushed in the country 's comprehensive , task-based teaching has been the concern of the majority of English teachers . English curriculum standards advocated experience , practice , participation, cooperation and exchange of learning and task-based teaching methods . The task-based teaching and learning activities emphasize Doing \Forms task will not only help to improve the students 'comprehensive ability to use English , but also contribute to the cultivation of students' self- learning awareness and spirit of cooperation . This study is a task-based teaching methods for teaching reading reading stage , the relatively simple task-based teaching experimental study on the reading stage in the teaching of reading lessons , by trying several common operations \its purpose is to study task-based teaching methods in the teaching of high school English reading read later stages of the feasibility and effectiveness of the use of , and provides some practical experience to the majority of the first - line high school English teachers . At the same time stimulate students' interest in learning , improve the comprehensive use of language skills of the students . This dissertation includes five chapters : The first chapter deals with the background, purpose and significance of the research . The second chapter is a literature review , the theoretical basis of the definition of the task , the task-based teaching methods and task-based teaching methods at home and abroad . The third chapter focuses on task-based teaching methods in the experimental study of high school English reading later stage . Including subjects research questions and experimental tools . The fourth chapter analyzes the results of this experiment . Chapter conclusions for future research in this area and make recommendations .
