Abstract

Basketball is an offensive and defensive fighting each other, mutual restraint and interdependent contradiction. With the development of basketball, defense is increasingly subject to the attention of the world team. The quality of defense has become an important indicator to measure whether a team belonging to the ranks of world-class teams. In this paper, the quarter-finals of the 16th World Basketball Championship teams and four games in the quarter-finals as the research object, starting from the quarterfinals the overall features of defensive tactics, summarize and discuss the formation of the world's top teams defensive tactics, analyzed and summarized the modern men's basketball overall defensive tactics of the latest features and trends in order to provide a reference for the future of China's men's basketball training and competition. In this study, using the methods of literature, expert interviews, the statistical method of video observation, mathematical statistics and logical analysis of research methods, the use of the World Championship quarter-finals four games overall defensive tactics statistics and analysis. (3) For the defense fast break characteristics, the quarterfinals team back on defense fast, clear division of labor, back against the number of more take blocking each other a pass interception of collusion point and destroy the offensive line to contain the offensive fast-break basket for the rest of the team back on defense to gain time; However, due to the initiative of the prominent players individual abilities and fast attack tactics, its defensive effect is not ideal. (4) Nothing in this World Championship teams defensive use of tactical formation in turn is half man-to-man defense, zone defense, the consolidated defense and the audience man to man defense.
