Abstract


University counselors are college teachers in a special group , is mainly responsible for the ideological and political education of students , academic management , life at school , mental health education , competitions , and other day-to-day student affairs management and education . The counselor job of work there is a special object , complexity of work , working hours unbounded and infinite value of the work . Performance management in universities is not extensive practical level also needs to be improved , especially performance management counselors , college has been a lack of attention . However, with the development of modern society , the college application requirements for performance management is more and more urgent . More and more colleges and universities recognize that in addition to the research level , the management level of the same indicators measure an integral part of the comprehensive strength of the University . Moreover, the only efficient scientific management , to provide the University with a pure and broad academic research environment . Performance management as one of the most important systems in the organization and management , its significance is self - evident . This article is mainly optimized for performance management of university counselors , try to build a scientific and pragmatic university counselor performance management system . The author combines his own experience engaged in the work of the University of counselors , diagnostic analysis of the prevailing university counselor performance management status quo based on the use of analysis tools and methodologies related management counselor positions for scientific analysis , preparation of College counselor job description , building counselor performance appraisal system , the establishment of a the University Counselor performance management process system , and supporting protection mechanisms combined with performance management .
