Abstract


Academic social comparison refers to the individual in the scholastic academic ability and level of all aspects of a cognitive evaluation process to form, with other students to compare their own academic situation. This study from the angle of the junior high school academic social comparison, and to explore its relationship with learning inputs investigated the psychological characteristics of students' learning, analyze the reasons for poor student learning involvement, to provide theoretical guidance for the development of junior high school students learning ability, and junior high school students of learning psychological counseling work to carry out reasonable suggestions to expand the field of social comparison. This study selected two secondary schools in Kaifeng City, the first day to the third day of three-grade students in each grade to extract a class total was 450, effective test 426. Made a survey questionnaire of junior high school students academic social comparison and learning inputs, designed to examine the junior high school academic social comparison and study the relationship that exists between the investment in the development of features and both Variance analysis and multiple regression analysis, statistical processing of the survey data, the following conclusions: first, the junior high school academic social comparison on grade, gender differences, and the difference reached a significant level. Grade main effect on self-improvement and upward comparison factor differences, first grade scored significantly higher than the second grade and third grade; gender main effect in the downward comparison to factor significant difference, the boys more use downward comparison. Second, junior high school students learning to invest significant grade differences, gender differences are not significant. The main effect of gender in learning inputs of each factor, the difference was not significant; grade main effect of a significant difference in the vigor and dedication factor. Third, parallel comparison, downward comparison factor prediction junior high school students learning inputs no significant; upward comparison can be extremely significant positive forecast vigor, dedication and focus; self-deprecating extremely significant negative predictor of dedication, representing a significant forecast vitality, significantly predicted focus; self-improvement can be extremely significant positive forecast vigor, dedication and focus; comparison orientation can be extremely significant negative forecast vitality significantly predicted focus. Educators should pay attention to the value of the junior high school academic social comparison to its growth and development, according to the different characteristics of students targeted guidance and in-depth analysis of student learning involvement, specific issues and problems, in order to more effectively improve the students learning inputs.
