Abstract


The rural public space is an important carrier to sustain the rural social order. It avails the rural social integration and control. So it is an important platform of shaping the "order" people. With the advancement of marketization, urbanization and informationization, traditional rural public spaces turn up a shrinking situation and shows that the public space gradually weakening in the structure and function. Some traditional factors which sustain rural social order disappear or were hidden gradually, and the new ones may be in the "lack of field" condition in the period of social transition. It will significantly impact on the rural social integration and stability. Thus, as the generating field of the rural social order, rural public space has its necessity to reconstruction. After the reform and opening-up policy was carried out, national administrative power gradually deviate from basic-level countryside society, replaced with the self-governance system which lets the villagers manage their internal affairs by themselves, providing conditions for the formation of the public space. The establishment of market economy system transplanted principle of equality, voluntarily, fairness, and mutual benefit into villagers’daily life gradually, which become building foundation of the important rural public space. Meanwhile, the villagers’actual interests demand, communication wishes, the reinstatement of the community memory, the increase of free time, and the changes of leisure idea also provide the possibility of the reconstruction of the rural public space. In actual construction process, external administrative power, the two committees of the village, the elites of the village, non-governmental organizations and ordinary villagers are the indispensable main body strength. In addition, the rural public space has diversified and multi-level characteristics, so single public space is not enough to meet the rural social authority to create and maintain order. Therefore, it needs building diversified, multi-level rural public space in political, economic and cultural fields, to make its play in the rural social order sustenance function in different forms, In short, the rural public space in this paper we talked about is committed to find the generation platform of the rural social order just in the interior of the rural life, In the process, we need dig some favorable tradition factors and transfer the activity of each subject in rural social internal to establish the endogenous countryside public space, in order to build a platform for the formation of endogenous rural order.
