Abstract

With the increasing advancement of network information , vulnerability detection technology has become the focus of the current network security research . Vulnerability detection tool to detect the vulnerability of computer systems , and provide appropriate remedial program to improve the safety and reliability of the system . Currently, the vulnerability detection software uses a different standard vulnerability defined library , poor compatibility between the type of operating system does not support a comprehensive computer system security is difficult to get high quality assurance . The context of the national scientific and technological support projects , mainstream vulnerability detection techniques , depth discussion of the basic principles of open vulnerability assessment standards OVAL On this basis , the introduction of OVAL - based vulnerability detection framework , designed and implemented OVAL standard to support multi-platform , multi - tier server deployment , the hybrid structure type distributed vulnerability detection system . The main work of this paper are as follows: 1) detailed discussion of the loopholes in the development of the status quo , discusses and analyzes the theory and vulnerability detection techniques , in-depth study of international standards such as OVAL and CVSS proposed based OVAL distributed vulnerability detection system design the design goals of the program , and system architecture , workflow and basic function is described in detail . 2) vulnerability detection system , a detailed description of the server and client technology , and host - based load vulnerability detection scheduling policy is described in detail . 3 ) for the server volume vulnerabilities impact of low detection efficiency and detection process on the host load problem , dynamic vulnerability detection based on host load scheduling policy , increased the server vulnerability detection efficiency , balance vulnerability to detection of the load on the host . 4) for loopholes in the system hazard degree of qualitative analysis of the problem , according to the vulnerability detection results , and combined with CVSS 's vulnerability rating mechanism , put forward since the definition of vulnerability threshold of safety warning strategy , the strategy according to the level of vulnerability endanger set different thresholds , prompted a host of security vulnerabilities dangerous situation . Community e- service network deployment and operation of the system that the system has a strong practicality and flexibility of deployment . Run results show that the system to the host system to conduct a comprehensive , accurate and efficient detection of vulnerabilities .
