Abstract

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID, Radio Frequency Identification) is a non -contact automatic identification technology , which arose in the 1980s . Its high reliability , high security and high anti-interference performance , and can recognize multiple moving objects at once . Recent years , RFID technology has been widely used in the service , logistics management , commodity production , transportation and many other fields . RFID systems , depending on the label power supply , can be divided into both passive and active ; depending on the operating frequency , can be divided into low-frequency , high frequency and UHF and microwave . UHF RFID system has become the focus of current research because of its recognition distance and speed read and penetrate nonmetal . UHF reader technology development based on the current situation , design a reader based on EPC Gen2 standard , the main contents : ( 1 ) a brief introduction of RFID technology, a major component of the development process and RFID systems , and each band main applications of RFID technology ; ② detailed analysis of the index requirements of Gen2 protocol link coding , modulation and demodulation , and the reader the choice of labels , inventory and access command ; ③ reader structure analysis of the structure and function of the the microcontroller C8051F340 and RF chip AS3991 complete the the reader critical path circuit signal simulation and system hardware circuit design and system board , debugging ; ④ complete reader middleware programming , while the EPC Gen2 standard anti-collision algorithm is studied ; the ⑤ completed the design of the user application , the control of the reader through the host computer . Reader tested proof design normally under the control of the main control interface , stable work , the reader can correctly operate the Gen2 tags , one can identify multiple tags , the system is running all kinds of indexes can reach the desired objectives.
