Abstract


Foreign direct investment (FDI) is an important driving force of economic globalization , as the main way of international capital flows , the role of foreign direct investment on the economy of the host country has been growing concern for domestic and foreign researchers . With the deepening of China's opening to the outside world , the scale of China's utilization of foreign investment , since the 1990s , China has been most of the developing countries to attract foreign direct investment , foreign direct investment in China's economic development plays a very important role. Jiangsu Province is located in China's eastern coastal open frontier , excellent investment environment , one of the provinces of the fruitful development of China 's open economy . In 2003-2009 , the GDP of Jiangsu Province for many years among the forefront of the various provinces of the country , taking into account economic Jiangsu important position in the national economy , this paper, through the study of FDI and economic growth in Jiangsu Province , from multiple areas begin to analyze the use of in Jiangsu Status and structural characteristics of the foreign , conducive to the benign interaction region of opening up and economic growth under the new situation . With the help of the data provided by the Statistical Yearbook of Jiangsu Province , the use of time-series data , scale , regional characteristics , the main source of industrial distribution and investment from foreign investment in Jiangsu Province, 1985-2010 Statistics analysis Jiangsu use of foreign capital Status and structural features , combined with the existing theoretical research achievements at home and abroad , to absorb and learn from empirical research methods , and analyzes the economic effects of foreign direct investment in Jiangsu Province , and the impact of foreign direct investment mechanism . Thesis end explained in the previous theoretical and empirical analysis on the basis of the summary of current Jiangsu how effective introduction and utilization of foreign capital to put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions .
