Abstract


In the past 20 years , the study of the efficiency of commercial banking to become an international financial sector and the focus of the study of the regulatory authorities . The nature of the commercial banks is the enterprise , and its pursuit of the goal is to maximize cost savings , or maximize revenue . In recent years, China's commercial banks assets increased year by year , while the reform of the banking sector is also made ??a number of breakthroughs in China 's commercial banks , but compared with the international advanced peers still a big gap in all respects . This paper uses DEA method to evaluate the efficiency of China's banking industry and its influencing factors on the efficiency of the commercial banks has certain theoretical and practical significance . This paper reviews the related research literature , the efficient conduct of the definition and decomposition. After that, the combination of the basic situation of China's banking sector , the use of data envelopment analysis method CRS, VRS and NIRS model estimates the value of China in 2007-2009, the efficiency of the 16 commercial banks , including the technical efficiency , pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency. But the limitations of DEA - based method , the paper uses the canonical correlation analysis to transform the original variables , the empirical analysis of the situation of China 's 16 commercial banks efficiency 2007-2009 as a new input and output variables , and finally to introduce ultra - DEA model further improvements . Established multiple regression model , the value of the dependent variable , the technical efficiency of the sample banks , several factors may affect bank efficiency linear regression analysis , the results show that : the non - performing loan ratio was significantly negatively correlated with bank efficiency , deposit-loan ratio was a positive relationship with the middle income share of bank efficiency . In this paper, by raising banks ' asset allocation capabilities , diversified asset structure ; strengthen loan management , improve asset quality ; accelerate the development of intermediary business , to improve the proportion of middle-income and other measures to improve the efficiency of commercial banks on the basis of the above analysis .
