Abstract

The land is an important material basis for human survival and development is an integral part of the progress of human society a valuable asset. The development and utilization of land resources and balance, reflecting the scale and level of economic development of a country or region, is one of the hallmarks of the measure of balanced regional development. In view of this, the paper uses the most authoritative measure of sustainable development - the \systematic introduction to the basic concept of the ecological footprint; and in line with the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of the combination of the guiding ideology, through the use of Excel, SPSS software-depth analysis of the status of the ecological footprint of land resources in Sichuan Province, the objective true assessment of its sustainable use. By calculating the dynamic degree of use of land resources in Sichuan Province that: six kinds of land types in Sichuan Province, the area of ??arable land is significantly reduced, the annual rate of change of 0.85%; forest land, construction land, the waters are significantly increased, the annual rate of change were 4.24%, 0.77%, 8.74%; little change in grassland area, the same as the annual change rate of O. Calculation and analysis results show that in 2009, Sichuan Province, the sustainable use of land resources model has been completely unsustainable, the dynamic changes of the Sichuan Province in 2009 ecological footprint and 2000-2009 ecological footprint per capita ecological footprint by 2000 1.082107 hm2 in 2009 1.698024 ha, an increase of nearly 1/3; ecological deficit per capita by 2000 0.659412hm2 growth to 1.264317 ha, an increase of nearly doubled. This shows that the unsustainable use of land resources in Sichuan Province during the past decade has been in the ecological pressure on land resources is gradually expanding. In addition, comparative analysis of the ecological footprint economic model, additional evaluation on sustainable utilization of land resources in Sichuan Province, the results show that, although the use of land resources in Sichuan Province is under the absolute ecological pressure, the regional unit of land output increases the efficiency of the use of resources in the region in economic development in human land use is moving forward to the intensive direction, can be said that the sustainable development of the region's land still has some potential. The above results, a series of problems for the the process sustainable use of land resources in Sichuan Province, in Chapter Sichuan Province to mitigate ecological deficit to achieve the sustainable use of land resources made the following suggestions: First, strictly control population growth and reduce the ecological footprint pressure; Second, to establish the basic farmland protection system, improve the ecological carrying capacity of arable land; Third, do a good job of land ecological and environmental construction, improve the quality of land ecological environment; Fourth, strengthen land management, improve the land supply and demand mechanism; fifth, correctly handle the relationship between agricultural land and construction land, improve land intensive use; Sixth, establish and improve laws and policies to ensure a reasonable implementation of the land-use planning.
