TiCx-Cu (Al) cermet developed in recent years as a new type of metal matrix composites, ceramics with metallic Cu and Ti3AlC2 the dual advantages, which it has wider application prospect. However TiCx-Cu (Al) cermet is prepared by the method of powder metallurgy, the manufacture of complex structures with which to shape or large size and great difficulty member, which greatly limits the application of the material. Welding method used in this paper is the best way to solve this problem. This paper studies the TiCx-Cu (Al) metal-ceramic welding current at different densities, different arc duration, different pressures and different bonding ceramic content test under the conditions of arc welding, butt joint area after the sample microstructure observation and phase analysis and testing of welded specimens of the four point bending strength and resistivity. Zone of welded joints through the sample microstructure analysis reveals TiCx-Cu (Al) metal-ceramic welding process parameters at different organizational changes under the action of the law and the phase composition changes. In this paper, the finite element analysis software ANSYS welding heating process was simulated to study the different current densities, different arc duration, different ceramic content of the welding temperature field distribution inside the material impact of the law, and with the test to determine the best combination of range of welding parameters. In addition, as the welding process is a typical transient nonlinear heat conduction problem, after cooling the sample after welding will have a greater residual stress, this article uses the indirect method using ANSYS simulation at different current densities and different durations and different arc ceramic content in case of heating the stress distribution within the material. This study showed that: after welding with weld joint area density of the sample increased, TiCx-Cu (Al) between the cermet specimens welded joint strength may exceed the strength of the base material; weld joint zone sample phase mainly composed of Cu (Al) alloy and TiCx ceramic phase; satisfactory welded joint specimens resistivity lower resistivity than the base metal; in a certain range of parameters of the welding process, the welding performance specimen obtained, various ceramic content The TiCx-Cu (Al) cermet optimal parameters of this range is slightly different; stress field contours can be more intuitive reaction weld pool morphology in the weld pool at the lower position of the maximum stress in the weld After the material is cooled to room temperature where the most likely place where residual stress.
