Abstract


Task-based approach was developed in the 1980s and the rise of a popular teaching approach , this teaching because science teaching philosophy has been more and more attention and application . This article is based on the task-based approach the theoretical and practical study , the current foreign language teaching of reading drawbacks , combined with foreign language reading class course characteristics , based on I shed royal village in Thailand during reading lessons taught at the University Teaching Experience proposed task-based approach and a combination of foreign language teaching teaching reading vision to seek task-based approach and the best foreign language reading lesson binding mode . This total is divided into five parts , each part of the content is summarized as follows : The first part of this paper, the teaching of foreign language reading describe the current situation , summarize lines appear foreign language classroom drawbacks presented traditional reading pedagogy longer meet Foreign Chinese reading lesson 's conclusion which made this research topic. The second part , the paper predecessors in the task-based approach and the field of foreign language teaching reading results and experiences to be classified and summarized. The third part , the paper task-based approach in the task definition, types , design principles , factor analysis , composition, the basic characteristics of the system to be introduced . And combining the characteristics of reading instruction for targeted analysis . The fourth part , this paper presents task-based approach used in the teaching of reading lesson mode operation framework, under the guidance of this framework , I chose the Royal shed in village when a university professor reading the text for a more specific teaching design . Finally, by questionnaires and observation scale in the form of task-based approach used for the Foreign Language Teaching reading to assess the effect . The fifth part , the paper through questionnaires and scales of quantitative and qualitative analysis, task-based approach in foreign language teaching reading application process issues that need attention as well as areas for improvement .
