The automotive industry is a rapidly developing industry , especially in recent years , with the gradual rise of the domestic independent brand development , product homogenization of serious , increasing competition, introduction of new products and faster speed , forcing the automotive industry to seek can significantly reduce the cost of automotive product development cycle and new . Do rely on to build physical sample test verification automotive design method is obviously not able to meet the needs of the increasingly fierce market competition , forcing companies to seek faster , more efficient and more affordable design and development methods , based on computer simulation technology , computer-aided engineering ( CAE ) have come into being , has played an invaluable role in the product development of the auto companies . Car head-on collision properties of automotive passive safety technology an important and indispensable part of the front of the car collision performance has a direct impact on the difficulty of the design of the occupant restraint system on the front of the car crash performance improvements following : vehicle frontal crash analysis model modeling method research vehicle frontal crash test methods and parameters evaluation study the body structure of the frontal crash performance of this thesis , companies will form a set of their own vehicle modeling methods and specifications, and important parameters in the frontal crash approach a comprehensive understanding and assessment methods . The ultimate purpose of the paper through computer simulation method for companies to find the optimal design of a practical , thereby reducing development cycles, reduce development time , reduce development costs .
