Abstract


Previous studies on fertility desire a lot , but there is a single research methods to study the macro perspective , content and other aspects of one-sided limitations. In this paper, Hubei Province Population Association 2010 project \differentially impact factor. From the analysis of fertility desire to proceed with the differences in reproductive behavior , fertility desire accurately grasp the population status and reproductive behavior , help determine the focus of the work , and then seek effective measures to solve the problem . Survey results show that the wishes of local residents average number of births 2.11 , the actual average fertility 1.74 children ; willingness birth sex ratio was 116.8 , the actual birth sex ratio was 162.4 . From the above data we can get a preliminary judgment, Fertility Desire and there are differences between the behavior and thus propose two hypotheses. In order to verify the hypothesis , we use the relevant variables , respectively, of 35 to 45 years the actual number of births and the individual wishes of the number of births , the actual birth sex ratio at birth sex ratio and willingness t test . Test results show 35 to 45 -year-old individual wishes of actual fertility levels below fertility levels , over 40 % of the individuals did not complete his expected number of births , only 10 % of individuals over the completion of the number of desired fertility . 35 to 45 years of the survey is higher than the actual sex ratio at birth sex ratio at birth wishes , in particular in the boy was born with a right of priority in reducing the number of children it would tend to reduce the number of births of girls . In a fertility and allowed only two child birth cases, the actual birth sex ratio is higher than the sex desire fertility , higher than normal . Differences in willingness and behavior type as the dependent variable , on the impact of differences in factors regression analysis showed that age , residence , economic level and gender preferences affect fertility desire and fertility differences in behavior of the main factors . Excluding these factors , the characteristics of fertility desire itself , social and technical factors such as differences will also have been affected .
