Abstract


With proliferation of user demand for data services and multimedia explosive growth in the mobile communication system load on the verge of a bottleneck . Improve communication rate and communication quality assurance has become the field of communication develop core competitiveness of the key . MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output, multi- input, multiple output ) using multiple transmit antennas and multiple receive antennas for wireless transmission technology, breaking the traditional channel capacity Shannon theoretical limit , without increasing the power and bandwidth consumption in the case multiplied to improve the transmission rate and transmission reliability. WIMAX (Worldwide Interoperability Microwave Access, worldwide interoperability for microwave access ) have flexible implementation of the physical layer bandwidth scalability and robustness to fading , is combined with the advantages of MIMO function selection . According to the software engineering methods , the analysis of the MIMO channel control module based on the needs , based on two kinds of WIMAX MIMO system physical layer coding scheme proposed MIMO base station side MAC layer modules required to achieve five major functional points, including : Specify empty encoding , the specified spatial multiplexing, spatial multiplexing, space-time adaptive coding switch forces the virtual MIMO, and the virtual MIMO adaptive matching , etc., are given MIMO base station side MAC layer module design . After analyzing the background of MIMO subsystems CCS software architectures , respectively, to the achievement of its five major functions of the specific function , made a detailed description . Proposed two key technologies to achieve, based on the space-time coding and CINR spatial multiplexing adaptive switching judgment basis , and a post- test algorithm to achieve virtual MIMO uplink terminal adaptive split pairs. Finally respectively according to functional requirements , describes the test module function MIMO test environment and test cases. And the design was functional simulation and test verification. The results show that the MIMO module functions designed to improve the system throughput and the stability of transmission , to the design objectives. WIMAX system based on the base station side MIMO performance control software research and development, providing a practical design, implementation , has been achieved on the physical layer coded MIMO 4G base station systems with some reference , reference value.
