Objective To investigate the IOS determination of serum IL-13, IL-18 in COPD condition evaluation. Methods in our hospital from February 2010 to January 2011, 85 patients with COPD and 24 healthy persons were nine cases of COPD severity is divided into mild (Ⅰ), moderate (Ⅱ) 21 (Ⅲ) 35 cases of severe, very severe (Ⅳ) 20 cases, including 50 cases of patients with stable, 35 cases of patients with acute exacerbation. Line IOS determination and conventional pulmonary function test, blood samples were 4ml, using double-antibody sandwich ABC-ELISA were measured in serum IL-13, IL-18 levels. Results group, FEV1 1.COPD, FVC, FEV1/FVC% FEV1/pre% are significantly lower than the control group (P lt; 0.05) of COPD among the groups above parameters with COPD severity increases, FVC, FEV1 / pre% significant difference (P lt; 0.05); 2 of COPD groups Z5, R5, Fres were significantly higher (P lt; 0.01) of COPD among the groups above parameters with COPD severity increases , Fres there is a significant difference (P lt; 0.01) of COPD group X5 significantly lower than the control group (P lt; 0.01), X5 decreases with COPD severity increased; 3.COPD group Z5, R5, R20, Fres and FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC%, FEV1/pre% showed a significant negative correlation (P lt; 0.05), the X5 with FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC%, FEV1/pre% showed a significant positive correlation (P lt; 0.01), Fres related most closely; 4 acute exacerbation of COPD period group, the stabilization period serum IL-13 and IL-18 were significantly higher than that in the control group (P lt; 0.01), acute exacerbation of COPD period serum IL-13 , IL-18 levels were significantly higher than the stable group (P lt; 0.01); 5.COPD serum IL-13, IL-18, respectively, with FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC% FEV1/pre% showed a significant negative correlation ( P lt; 0.01); the COPD group serum of IL-13, of IL-18, respectively, with the Z5, R5, Fres was significant with are related (P lt; 0.01), of IL-18 and R20 was significantly positive related (P lt; 0.05 ), IL-13, IL-18 and X5 Wang a significant negative correlation (P lt; 0.01). The conclusion 1.IOS determination of the parameters can fully reflect the dynamic characteristics of the patients with respiratory physiology, judge the site of airway obstruction, blocking the degree of compliance of sensitive indicators, auxiliary routine pulmonary function testing and diagnosis COPD. 2.IL-13, IL-18 are involved in the development of COPD occurrence, to reflect the two important indicators of airway obstruction and airflow limitation, as the evaluation of COPD condition. Areas for patients with intolerable pulmonary function tests or pulmonary function tests can not be carried out by measuring IL-13, IL-18 levels indirectly reflect airway obstruction to airflow limitation, to determine the condition. For FEV1/pre ≥ 50% of mild to moderate COPD patients, by measuring IL-13, IL-18 may contribute to the diagnosis and evaluation of the disease, to achieve early intervention purposes.
