Abstract


Software testing in the modern software development process plays a vital role is to protect software reliability , the primary means to improve software quality . As users of the software to continuously improve product quality requirements , and software engineering techniques become more sophisticated , software testing in software development and maintenance process is playing an increasingly important role. People want software testers to all stages of software development , software product as soon as possible to find the presence of various quality problems, more frequently , a wider range of software products covering various functional point , as the user's protector. If you only use manual testing , software development team requires more time and human input . The simple automated tests are mainly based recording and playback, there are difficult to maintain , and many other significant problems, so , automated testing research has important significance. The emergence of automated testing framework indicates that the software test automation technology is mature. Automated testing is more economical, efficient , and more conducive to the development and maintenance. With the development and maintenance of the script less and less time , more time can be used to improve software testing range and quality of products , so that the investment in automated testing can get a quicker return. This paper analyzes the software testing and automated testing in the software life cycle , the importance of the development of automated testing introduced the current situation , a clear QTP in the project as well as the drawbacks of the application development process will inevitably encounter bottlenecks , which tells the introduction the importance of automated testing framework . QTP automated testing framework and the core , the first of its own characteristics did teach QTP detailed analysis , followed by the design of automated testing framework based on standards, combined with the company's actual needs , detailing SAFFRON frame design structure and implementation details.
