Abstract


Since reform and opening , the Christian faith in China developed rapidly , especially in rural areas has become a social phenomenon can not be ignored . In this paper, after Gaomiaocun Western Plain of the Christian faith as a case study with a folklore perspective to the village's Christians as the main object of study, through participant observation and in-depth interviews fieldwork methods , respectively, in which believers the social background of the conversion process and its believers religious life religious believers daily life after the change other aspects of the in-depth study and description , trying to present a common village the true state of the Christian faith , in order to obtain information about specific local cultural traditions of Christianity and interactive conditions comprehensive understanding . This paper examines the villages production and lifestyle changes as well as changes in the environment faith to the Christian faith in this article is to provide a concrete space-time background . As the environment changes , believers become a personal affair . Next, the author analyzes the Christian conversion process . Believers in the conversion process to convert on motivation and efficacious emphasized , reflects the Christian faith with traditional folk beliefs fit. Finally, the religious life of the believer and the daily life of inspection. From time to arrange their religious lives are conformed to the ritual process production and living needs of the local Christians , devout and casual coexist. In everyday mundane life, Christians in the community within the scope allowed by tradition made ??limited modifications to the folk life although the obvious changes, but this change is limited to Christians themselves , affect the scope and depth of the very small.
