Abstract

Objective: explore the reverse regression based on understanding Inverse Regression mentally retarded children self-determination condition, mental retardation children's educational possibilities (capacity and resources) and feasibility (intervention curricula and training methods of self-determination). Methods: ① I want to participate in their own IEP ② teaching activities through six IEP theme I want to own bath ③ I want to organize classes to go shopping ④ I offer a small partner to play football ⑤ I want The autonomous learning ⑥ I want to participate in a speech contest, the use of self- decided to learn the guidance model (Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction) eight core skills of self-determination of the cases (choices, problem solving, decision making, targeting and achieving self-advocacy, self-management, self-awareness or self-knowledge, self-efficacy) to intervene. Comprehensive use of the observation, monitoring and evaluation of the development of self-determination by interview, investigation, experiment cases. The study results: (1) Before the intervention, the level of self-determination of cases is relatively low and the lack of self-determination. (2) after the intervention, the case of self-determination behavior dimensions (knowledge, skills, and feelings) and total scores are significantly increased, the total score improved 40 percentile rank, and score different evaluators report strong consistency. (3) cases of self-determination to a higher degree of generalization of behavior cases self-determination of behavior in school and at home score significantly improved after the intervention, case school percentile rank score increased by 50 self-determination, self-determination score at home an increase of 40 percentile rank. Conclusions: (1) Inverse Regression for Mentally Retarded Children can develop and implement their own IEP; Inverse Regression (2) family of mentally retarded children self-determined training base; (3) collective activities helping to train Inverse Regression mentally retarded children self Case of the decision; (4) Community Inverse Regression mentally retarded children self-determination practice base; (5) Inverse Regression mental retardation children can self-learning; (6) teachers Inverse Regression mentally retarded children to promote self-determination; (7) the course of development of self-determination - to abandon self-determination to excessive self-determination. Countermeasures and suggestions: (1) Professor reverse regression mentally retarded children self-determination specific strategies selected ① self-awareness and self-knowledge ② ③ to make decisions ④ to solve to ⑤ goal set and achieve ⑥ independent learning strategies; (2) self-determination the inclusion reverse regression Mental Retardation child's individualized education program (IEP) ① use self-determination to learning the guiding models (SDLMI) guidance reverse regression mentally retarded children develop the individualized education program (2) encourage reverse regression mentally retarded children participate in the IEP meeting ; (3) Inverse Regression the Mental Retardation children the opportunity to self-determination; teacher training (3) (4) improve teachers to develop students' awareness of self-determination and capacity; (5) the development of self-determination of the school support system ① preparation of appropriate curriculum materials ② Strengthen formation of reverse regression mentally retarded children self-determined professional guidance team; (6) to explore the self-determination of the family resources; (7) to create the self-determination of the community environment; (8) self-determination is not completely decided but the pursuit of the greatest self-determination; ( 9) self-determination is a lifelong subject of the individual.
