Abstract


Literary studies reveal language means of expression can not be divorced from linguistics , linguistic research is also inseparable from the literature are highly refined processed . Linguistics and literary studies combined , will be able to better analyze the nature of literary characters in session . Research and commentary about the British famous women of the 19th century Charlotte Bronte classic novels \This paper attempts from the point of view of pragmatics detailed analysis of the novel , the hero of the dialogue , is a multidisciplinary research across linguistic and literary . The paper first reviews of literary research and criticism , since the nineteenth century, successive writers, literary critics made ??by Charlotte Bronte and her \the feasibility and necessity of the meaning of \This article uses the pragmatic theory and principles , including Grice 's cooperative principle and conversational implicature Standards , Brown and Levinson 's politeness theory and Leech 's politeness principle and criteria , after three novel dialogue analysis provides a theoretical framework and research tools . The principles of cooperation and its guidelines explain the meaning of the words implied , explain how conversational implicature and understanding , politeness principle is why verbal communication implicitly and indirectly to express their ideas . Through a lot of analysis and comparison , the authors found that use indirect expression of many classic dialogue \The authors believe that realism and feminist consciousness of the the summer Greenland Bronte novels of this article can be confirmed on the one hand , to help expand its traditional literary criticism and enduring artistic charm ; the other hand , proved by Pragmatics theory on the literary work session analysis of the effectiveness of its in-depth understanding and appreciation novel revelation .
