Abstract


With the continuous development of computer network technology , as well as the sudden emergence of the Internet industry , the amount of information networks exploding , data reliability and security has been more and more attention . Fibre Channel-based storage area network technology to provide a high-performance storage applications access to data stored in a variety of ways to extend the storage networking technology into the mainstream of the field of data communications , providing users with a more flexible, easy to operate and manage storage solutions. Storage expansion achieved in the storage network expansion also brings new problems , Fibre Channel and extended network on -line speed mismatch may cause network congestion or network resources . In order to solve the problems of storage expansion performance, IP- based storage expansion FCIP protocol , for example, presents a cross-layer FCIP flow control mechanism. The use of cross-layer design approach , the extended gateway TCP sliding window information will be sent to the FC traffic control, according to changes in the sliding window , FC reputation updates dynamically adjust the transmission frequency of the signal , enabling the FC frame transmission rate adjustment makes Fibre Channel and expand the network for data transmission rate can tend coordination, reduce congestion and improve network resource utilization , optimize storage scalability. Created by OPNET simulation model for FCIP cross-layer flow control simulation analysis. The results showed that : FCIP cross-layer flow control can effectively control the Fibre Channel and extended network data transfer rate , the initial data transmission rate of the FC TCP transmission rate than in the case , the data can be cached and the FC FC reputation updates reduces signal transmission frequency , to achieve the FC deceleration , reducing network congestion ; initial data transmission rate of the FC TCP transmission rate is smaller than the case of FC reputation updates can be improved signal transmission frequency , to achieve the acceleration FC improves network resource utilization .
