Abstract


Since the reform and opening up, "popular" in rapid warming, which quickly becoming a pursuing social phenomenon. As the market economy entering, a variety of popular clothing, popular music, popular literature, popular film of the hot and so on , which procured a culture——“popular culture”, that is quietly affecting people’s thinking and behavior of coordinates. Young college students who innate sensitivity and mental not yet fully mature surrounded the body in popular culture society, are vulnerable to the impact of popular culture, leading to misjudgment of the values and ideals of the direction of distortion. Campus popular culture and the broad sense popular culture has a certain distinction, therefore, this paper summarized based on the concept of popular culture, redefined the campus pop culture concept, hoping to explain the popular culture in this special group of college students` characteristics and its manifestations. And on this basis to identify the influence and causes of campus popular culture, then find a solution to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education.This article is divided into five parts.The first part includes the reason and significance of issues, summing up of research achievements on current popular culture and this article study ideas and innovation.The second part is made of popular culture definition,popular culture features,campus pop culture manifestations and characteristics in the college four parts. In this section mainly distinguish the popular culture and campus popular culture , and compare the broad features of popular culture and the character of campus popular culture, then find the university’s popular culture special about pop culture. The third part chiefly analyses the university popular culture bring the university students both positive and negative impacts, and the reasons for the formation of popular culture university.Overall, popular culture bring the impact to the students more harm than advantage.Although popular culture has inspired students to some extent the initiative and creativity,promoting the socialization process of college students and further emancipate the college students mind to join the tide of market economy. But the university students of popular culture on the ideology is a serious impact,especially on psychological challenges is particularly evident. These are pose serious challenges for the ideological and political education. The fourth part, mainly from the advanced culture guides, innovative universities carrier of ideological and political education , the students themselves‘guide to conduct campus popular culture.The fifth part is a summary of the full text.
