Abstract


With the development of China's market economy, China's urban communities are gradually moving towards maturity and perfection, research has become a hot research topic in the new period and focus on the participation of the urban community residents. The promotion of democracy in the urban community to build a democratic community and the foundation of a democratic society, community residents should play the role of ownership in the community building and development. Community residents in community building and development should give full play to their initiative, so that they can really participate in the construction and development of the community. Our present stage of community residents to participate in the research is still in its infancy, still need to continue with our efforts of scholars from the theoretical analysis and improvement of essence, under the guidance of scientific theory, improve the urban community residents to participate. In this thesis, the basis of the theory of community residents to participate in the interpretation and analysis of the reasons for these problems, put forward a number of recommendations to strengthen the participation of community residents and the implementation of specific measures. The main framework of this paper consists of four parts: First, the theory of urban community residents to participate in the interpretation, mainly on the new theory of public participation and governance theory and urban community residents to participate in the content, principles; Secondly, the paper of China's urban communities main reasons include the following aspects: community residents to participate in the current situation is described; once again, our urban community residents to participate in the problem and the reasons for these problems were analyzed and summarized, proposed to generate community residents to participate in problem lack of a sense of community, lack of residents involved in the mechanism of interest, community management system is imperfect, community residents to participate in the security system is imperfect; Finally, this paper focuses on the measures to solve these problems, I hope these reform measures can be to a certain extent on the urban community to improve the level of resident participation. Solutions proposed mechanism to improve the participation of community residents, community residents a sense of community and sense of community as well as to improve community residents to participate in the legal and oversight mechanisms. Improve our urban community residents to participate in a step-by-step process, we need joint efforts from both theory and practice, we should continue to strengthen theoretical study of residents in urban communities, with up-to-date theoretical knowledge to guide practice, participate in a step-by-step mature and improved.
