Abstract


Network technology progress spawns more and more new media forms, and brings the traditional media ecology environment changes. The development of traditional media subjects unprecedented shock and actively responds to the change. Media Convergence become to the inevitable trend of Journalism and Communication in the 21st century. As the media industry technology pioneer, when facing the challenge of new media, Radio fosters strengths and circumvents weakness, positively cooperate with the new media. The Central People’s Broadcasting Station fully carries out the cooperation with the network in 2009. This cooperation provides one new research direction to the Media convergence. The paper analyzes the push factors of the Media Convergence and explores the development trend of network integration by collecting the research situation of Media Convergence at home and abroad.The paper firstly analyzes the research status of Media Convergence at home and broad, and lists some representative and important points. In the basis of analyzes, the author puts the definition of Media Convergence in his opinion. As the three stages of the network fusion development for clues, the paper analyzes the development of Media Convergence in our country, and also analyzes the promotions of the Media Convergence and the directly factors that promote the network integration. The paper takes The Central People’s Broadcasting Station which is a vane significance in the development of the cooperation of the radio and network as an example, focusing on the new trend of the development of the Media Convergence today, for example news production fusion, the diversification of transmission channels, the influence to audience, the reorganization of the institution and resources in media enterprise, the transformation of media industry, etc. This paper also points out the existing problems in the current Media Convergence, such as the fuzzy about the profit-making mode of the website in Media Convergence, receding the credibility of the speech and media influence, the policy limit, the lack of talent and so on. Finally the paper affirms the positive effect of“network and radio developing in the same system”to the development of broadcast industry, and it deems that the future of Media Convergence can be expected.
