Abstract


With the advent of the information age and computer technology continues to evolve , poor data sharing and system independence has become a major impediment to promote the information technology . Therefore , the heterogeneous data sharing and system integration has become the hot spot of research within the field of information systems technology . The ship and crew safety is the top priority of the shipping process , ship dynamic monitoring information is an important measure for the protection of the safe navigation of the ship . Ship dynamic monitoring system with the depth of GIS and GPS applications , as well as communication technology continues to evolve , has made ??many achievements and to start the application . This article thought Guohua Power Company the design monitor the whole coal-fired maritime vessels ship dynamic monitoring system integrated platform design , research and realization of the main tasks in the full business needs survey and system analysis based on the VTS system solutions for dynamic monitoring of the ship 's radar system and GPS as Vessel Monitoring data source , as a means of communication between the GPS and GIS to GIS (Web GIS) as monitoring data analysis and presentation platform to GPRS . The research study , participate in the system integration of VTS, GIS, GPS and GPRS working principle and related technologies , summed up the integration of the various systems , and analysis of the advantages and feasibility of the system integration between the various systems proposed VTS and GIS heterogeneous data source integration programs and the integration of GIS and GPS programs . System design and prototype development of the system has been basically completed , you can achieve integration between the system and meet the requirements of dynamic monitoring of the ship .
