Abstract


Backbone network has sufficient capacity to support broadband services , access network bandwidth to become the bottleneck of the entire transmission network . Ethernet - based EPON ( Ethernet over Passive Optical Network , Ethernet Passive Optical Network ) is an important technique for future broadband , multi- service integrated access . It combines the advantages of both PON and Ethernet technology , with its high-bandwidth , low - cost , easy to use , easy to upgrade the excellent characteristics of the optical access network best choice . Cable TV network , due to the existing HFC ( Hybrid Fiber Coax ) networks exist , in order to save costs , the use of this paved line , which introduced the EOC ( Ethernet over cable ) connections . , SARFT issued by the EOC technology standards , but only have a standard draft . The standard formulation is still under discussion . This also led to the presence of various EOC technology . Various manufacturers to choose a different EOC technology to achieve their own hardware platform . Specific network management system must be developed for different hardware platforms to the development of the network management system , which brings a lot of duplication of work and increase the development cycle . To solve this problem , we designed and implemented a universal adapter of the an EOC underlying hardware . This article is divided into six chapters , organized as follows : Chapter 1 : Introduction of the research background , the status quo of the research projects , proposed research tasks . Chapter II : the EOC network management system . This chapter describes the EPON EOC 's basic concepts and EOC network management system model , adapter program selected . Chapter III : Software Reuse . This chapter describes software reuse . Chapter IV : EOC the underlying adapter source component reuse design . This chapter analyzes the selection of source code reuse and compare different hardware platforms , the common characteristics of these platforms extracted , and finally discusses in detail the adaptation process for different hardware platforms . Chapter V : achieve underlying universal adapter based on the source code fragments reuse . On the basis of the previous chapters , this chapter proposed model and design principles of the source component , then the source component generated . Chapter 6 : Conclusion . The paper work to summarize the results and unexplored .
